Family Values, My Ass
With this year being an election year in the US, and with all the presidential hopefuls doing their tours, kissing babies, promising great things like amending the constitution to be more in line with God’s wishes, I am particularly terrified of most of the candidates.
Let’s take Mike Huckabee, for instance. Here is a man who is in love with God and family values and if he is elected, he will destroy what little is still great about America (unless you’re white and Christian. In your case, America will be better for you).
Mike Huckabee’s son, David, was recently arrested for trying to bring a loaded Glock handgun onto a plane. He’ll likely get off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist because his daddy is such a great, stand-up guy. That was sarcasm. You know what would have happened if, say, I accidentally left a nail file in my carry on, I know I would be ass-raped for it. I know this, because I’ve been taken aside and questioned because I had a GameBoy SP with me. Oh and also because I’m brown. It is my firm belief that under Huckabee’s regime, should it ever come to that, all you brown people would be irrevocably screwed.
Second on this list is the recent news that he would, if elected, would amend the Constitution to be more in line with “God’s standards.”
I believe Dick Valentine of Electric Six said it best in the song “Rip It” with:
You’re listening to your politicians
They claim to speak to God
Can’t you see it’s just a fraud?
Your rituals and superstitions
Don’t you find them kind of odd?
Might as well kneel before Zod
And let’s not forget that Huckabee’s same son, David, tortured a stray dog and killed it by hanging it, slitting its throat, and then stoning it to death. What did he get as a reprimand for this? He got fired from the Boy Scouts.
It is my firm belief, a value of mine, that if anyone does anything as heinous, vile, evil, and disgusting as this to an animal that cannot defend itself, that person should be put in a small box while people stab at him with swords from the outside of it.
I don’t care what kind of list this puts me on. I’m merely stating my belief as free speech. This is something that is a free right of all people but that right is slowly being eroded by the very people whose jobs it is to uphold it. Bravo, then.
If it should come to pass that this man, if he could be called that, becomes the leader of the so-called “Free World” I will not step foot in that once-great nation. If this were to happen and I find out that anyone I know voted for him, that person will be dead to me.
Do not let your country’s greatness be destroyed.
